Hey guys whats going on, as the title said im new to the game and have been really enjoying it. I picked up Raspy because I like the models and like the whole winter theme. Anywho my buddies picked up some boxes too, I regularly play again Lady Justice, Pandora, Sameus and Nicodem.
Im looking to expand the models in my gang and have been trolling on here for awhile and have read that 2-3 Hoarcats, December Acolyte, essence of power/wendigo. These seem to be great additions but i was reading some people like molemen, Cerebus due their speed, and I was reading Joss's stats and he is a melee beast which I think would be good assest to her army. Any tatics or advice on what to pick up would be awesome.
Thanks for the help guy
You've got your netspeak mixed up, I think you meant "lurking";)
Anyway, I can testify that cerby works great with rasputina, it adds much needed speed and cc power to the otherwise slow army. Molemen don't realy add anything to raspy. People like hoarcats for her, but I find them a bit too delicate, prefering Cerby-Golem powerblock.

I also prefer to run the Cerberus and Golem as a fast/slow threat. How I came to that particular choice of models was by playing some games and finding things I'd like to do better.
My favorite thing to do is use Icy Mirror and December's Curse to lay waste to threats far up the board. Only Nino has more reach. To maintain this strategy, I found the best mix is at least 3 minions with Frozen Heart. If I'm short on stones, I'll take 3 Gamin, but the survivability of the Golem is hard to argue with.
After that, I needed speed to pull off Treasure Hunt and Sabotage, and a model that is good in melee. I combined these requirements in the Cerberus. Leap and Stalk to get up the board and sabotage, and then act as a distraction while I set up multiple December's Curses.
If you're going to be serious about using Icy Mirror agressively, you're going to want an Essence of Power. Going to CA 4 means that you're going to have :-fate flips for damage more often than not. While I use lots of soulstones to avoid this, the :+fate flip that the Essence provides makes the most out of those blast templates.

Rasputina is a great Master, make sure you pick up Essence.
I second the Golem and Cerberus.
I have Hoarcats but don't use them much except to look cool in a crazy cat lady crew.
The Miners and Steamfitters crew has worked well for me, the Swarms like the extra armour and can channel spells with December's Touch.
They also heal themselves and disable well with Paralyze.
The Steamborg sitting next to Raspy will kill most things, even Masters, who get her stuck in melee.

Thanks for the replies guys. If you were to make a 30 and 35 point list what would you put in there for a tourney? Also is Joss any good with Raspy? He and the Cerebrus seem like they would provide good melee threats while she nukes em with spells, or am I wrong in that assumption?

Tourneys should let you swap at least your crew, if not your Master.
So list design is fairly irrelevant unless you have a Strategy in mind.
Malifaux is about seeing your Strategies and then deciding your crew and Schemes based on what is appropriate.
Some ideas:
Steamborg, two Swarms, Essence of Power and enough SS to take Raspy to the cap.
For reconoiteur, Molemen or Gamin for multiple, survivable models.

I plan on subbing my golem with a steamborg. Yeah when **** hits the fan I'd rather have mr.scissorhands, people will think twice before charging blindly towards tina. It seems like a no brainer to me, you can always have your totem cast Dec Touch on the borg while he keeps steam cloud going daring enemies to go anywhere near his master.
Yeah you lose a range attack and BoW but for one more ss you the steamborg brings:
+2/+2 wk/cg
+1 wp
+ 2 ca (+tome)
+ 2 def
+1 wound
paired melee ( how come the golem isn't paired beats me)
+1 cb
+1/+2/0 dg
Terrifying=12
+ 1 melee expert
steam cloud > statue
way better triggers
The only downside is putting that big mofo together lol.

For tourneys with fixed lists I run 30 stones at:
Rasputina
Essence of Power (2)
Ice Golem (9)
Sabertooth Cerberus (8)
2 x Ice Gamin (8)
with a cache of 7 stones. Not the most original list, but it performs any job well (except for Reconnoiter) and is easily adaptible to changing conditions.
For the one 35 stone tourney I played in, I added a Convict Gunslinger and dropped my cache to 6 stones.
