Hi,
I'm taking a litle time for painting some of my superb Wyrd minis.
So the first is the Beshop:

And the second is Killjoy in a "frozzen meat" way:

I'm not a painter, just doing this for fun and gaming. And of course, they are only WIP.
But I'll be more than pleased to get some "real painter" advise and help for the next steps.

The blending could be a tad bit smoother, but I really like the color scheme you've chosen!

Kil Joy especially. Any plans of having him in a giant freezer with slabs of beef hanging by hooks?

Bishop seems to have a more radioactive mutant kind of look which is interesting and calls for the next WIPs to see where he's heading ;).

It looks really good so far, Steph! I think you can call yourself 'painter' without feeling embarassed! :p: I like the luminous colours you've used for the skin.

On Bishop I'd try to work in even more depth in the skin by carefully apply darker washes to the recesses and glaze the upwards-facing parts of the muscles with lighter tones. This would also serve to smooth out transitions.

On Killjoy I think the contrast in the skin is good but even here a few washes and glazes could be used to smooth out the skin more. I'd also work on getting the colour transition from blue to purple smoother and perhaps also more spread out vertically.

Keep up the good work! I'm really interested to see the finished results. :)

I love Killjoy I think the luminescence suits it very well.
