Here's my take on this big chunk o' meat! This one was a lot of fun to paint (I just wish I had had more time ;) ). I wanted him to have a fleshy and meaty look so there's lots and lots of red and brown washes and glazes on him. The base is not what I had intended initially, but due to lack of time I had to do something simple. My initial idea was to have him standing in a pool of sludge with the sludge soaked up by the bandages wrapped around his feet and calves. Well... maybe if I paint another one I can follow this idea through.

Nicely done Anders. Like your idea for the base, might just have to zip this bad boy back to you to play with at your pleasure here after the convention.
Enjoy the marks you've done on the cleaver and the cut across his stomach in particular that is starting to dribble a bit of blood.

Very cool Anders. I like the fleshy and meaty look to him.

Lovely. Although I would have LOVED to see him all gored up...I can understand this is better for display miniatures for Nathan. The NMM looks very nice and the warm flesh colors make him look different than what I have in my mind. I like that.
Only thing I would change is the base. Looks a bit too empty for me. Maybe some dead grass, body parts, mushrooms, etc. would make it slightly more interesting.

Nice one Anders, I have had this beast for ages now and just can't think of how best to go about it. Yours is absolutely disgustingly fabulous.
