Bete Noire can cast 'Mark for Death' on models and make them Insignificant for the rest of the game without resists.
Does this truly stretch to Strats and Schemes at the end of the game? The mind boggles.
For example, say against Neverborn, if she gets this spell off on all remaining Neverborn crew and they have 'Kidnap', they cant actually achieve it because when the 'Insignificant' Neverborn kills the target in melee it doesnt count as kidnapped due to its Insignificant status and not being able to affect win/losses.
Another example - say a model is carrying the treasure from treasure hunt in their deployment zone. Bete casts Mark for Death. It no longer is going to count as a 4vp win as the model holding the treasure is Insignificant.
Is there any reason she cant cast 'Mark for Death' on a Master and make them Insignificant too?

Yh, bn is super valuable for strategies. Makes models paralyzed, slow, easy to wound or insignificant, disappears any time and comes back where the trouble is.
If I didn't miss something then you can cast Mark for Death on masters as well, tho they are more likely to pass the wp-->12 duel. Especially Z with her Wp 10 - speaking of neverborn...

From the Errata:
Mark for Death
(Bete Noir)
Replace “Rst: -“ with “Rst: Wp”
Just so you know...
So it has resist now. I haven't played with my Ressers, but I'm of the mind that Bete is worth her points, despite the naysayers.

wtf when did that happen? What errata is that from? Cause this (http://wyrd-games.net/rules) doesn't say anything about it...
Thanks for the info tho.

Its in this thread (http://www.wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?p=111985#post111985) about Leviticus. I'm going to assume its part of the slow leak of the Soon™ to be released FAQ/Errata.
There is also an Official Malifaux Errata thread (http://www.wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7410), it has more than the main errata link, but it doesn't have the Bete thing.

Hmmmmm need a search function cause the 'real' errata is spread all over many threads... and the errata is not quite the errata.
Makes for interesting discussions over the gametable tho - between who has read what threads, and who has happened on the 'real' info!

With any luck, we will have a nice shiny PDF of all the current errata soon.

I liked the thread Eric used to update. Locked so no drivvle in it, updated whenever it changed. The site page could then just match it. That way a rule could change everyday if they wanted it to...
